Michelle is based in North Antrim and has built up a loyal following for her beach scene art. Focusing on the innocent and evocative scenes that depict our own childhoods and that of our children her work has become extremely popular.

Born in Ballymoney in 1957 Michelle has travelled widely and has worked and lived in the Middle East for many years, however she is happiest at home in Ireland in her studio. Michelle is a self-taught artist, though a qualified interior designer through which she has had he opportunity to be involved in theatre stage, set and programme design which has given her artist talents a whole new audience.

Michelle is the recipient of many awards, both local and international. Her work can be found in numerous private collections worldwide and has been exhibited throughout the Middle East, London and Ireland.

Michelle is an elected member of the Ulster Watercolour Society (UWS) and the Ulster Society of Women Artists (UWA). Michelle Carlin is well known for her expressive sensitive watercolours and oil paintings that are most keenly sought after.
